I bought this book because I enjoyed "Before I Go to Sleep" and was hoping for something similar. The main character in this book is a complete idiot with no redeemable qualities or likability at ALL. Was not prepared for the many, many sex scenes. Found myself skipping huge chunks at a time and finally just stopped reading all together. Don't waste your money!

I enjoyed this book immensely!! Yes, the main character makes bad decisions, but who is to say how we'd react?? Never say never!! Twists & turns kept me on my toes!!

Just when I thought I had the plot all figured out, there was another twist in the story! This is a fabulous psychological thriller! One of the best! I can't wait for more by this author!

You can tell the heroine was written by a man. She is a damsel in distress more suited to a B 90's sexual thriller with her badly contrived decisions. If they made this into a movie, I am sure it would star Ashley Judd and directed by Phillip Noyce. Slow and predictable, it tries to be Hitchockian, but really is just a bland imitation. More like A Perfect Murder versus Dial M for Murder.
  • Argh! Why'd I read this book?

A terrible ending to a plot that wasn't strong to begin with. Wish I could get my money back.
  • Glad it's over.

Main character is awful - a poor decision-maker and the twists are torture. The book is well-written, but too much focus on how the main character's body defies her mind.... Endless internal conflict that never results in a good outcome. I am happy it's over!
