Finders Keepers

- Release Date: 2015-06-02
- Genre: Mysteries & Thrillers
Description
The second book in Stephen King’s Bill Hodges trilogy (Mr. Mercedes, Finders Keepers, End of Watch)
“Stephen King’s superb stay-up-all-night thriller is a sly tale of literary obsession that recalls the themes of his classic 1987 novel Misery” (The Washington Post)—the #1 New York Times bestseller about the power of storytelling, starring the same trio of unlikely and winning heroes Stephen King introduced in Mr. Mercedes.
“Wake up, genius.” So announces deranged fan Morris Bellamy to iconic author John Rothstein, who once created the famous character Jimmy Gold and hasn’t released anything since. Morris is livid, not just because his favorite writer has stopped publishing, but because Jimmy Gold ended up as a sellout. Morris kills his idol and empties his safe of cash, but the real haul is a collection of notebooks containing John Rothstein’s unpublished work...including at least one more Jimmy Gold novel. Morris hides everything away—the money and the manuscripts no one but Gold ever saw—before being locked up for another horrific crime. But upon Morris’s release thirty-five years later, he’s about to discover that teenager Pete Saubers has already found the stolen treasure—and no one but former police detective Bill Hodges, along with his trusted associates Holly Gibney and Jerome Robinson, stands in the way of his vengeance...
Not since Misery has Stephen King played with the notion of a reader and murderous obsession, filled with “nail biting suspense that’s the hallmark of [his] best work” (Publishers Weekly).

I love the series
5By Wanderlusty31As a 28 year old female reader who started loving SK while reading IT when I was 9 years old. This series has not disappointed me. I’m so excited to read the third book. I like the way the stories tie in together. I like how the characters progress, and I’m a huge fan of the in depth backstories. 5 full stars and anticipation for “End of Watch”Perfect

5By MagnaiGThe first half of the book is very captivating. It's not really related to Brady Hartsfield. It's almost a standalone story. Very thrilling. I Recommend it for everyone even of they didn't read the first book.Finders Keepers

3By YoopermiNot as good as Mr. Mercedes. It starts to lag but the last third of this book gets more exciting. Can't wait to read the next in the series.Edge of your seat
5By Clavier NinjaKing is such a brilliant writer and creates such amazing characters. This is a wonderful book, but you really must read Mr. Mercedes first. I can't wait to move onto the next book in the series.Frighteningly suspenseful
5By HartzgirlConsumed this book in two lengthy evenings! No Ray Donovan, or The Wire which are my normal weekend binge watch time suckers. These characters feel like neighbors, family, friends and maniacal demons who haunt and hunt. I was transfixed. Even now I am compelled to titter out my tiny review while trying to stave off my Valium/ambien cocktail effects. Stephen King, you've had me since Danes macabre.Yellow, Red, Blue.
5By Campfire GhostsLove this series. Easily one of my favorites done by Stephen King. Can't wait to read "End of Watch". Very inspiring.Finders Keepers
5By Wolfhead9Edge of your seat up all night reading from my favorite author. Some of the stuff that King wrote after his van accident bored me. However, the Mercedes series & 1963 have me right back where I was after reading the Stand (my all-time fav): captivated reading!Quite literally could not put it down
5By Ferran275I haven't enjoyed a novel this much in a long time. There were stretches where I physically could not put it down. I actually am in the dog house with the girlfriend right now because I stayed up all night to finish it. King at his furious best, just an amazingly exciting page turner of a book. Bravo King.YES!!!!
