On his way to Amande, Rio encounters Liselotte’s party and a delegation from the Beltrum Kingdom. After helping them fight off a monster attack, he joins them for the rest of the journey. A familiar face from his past is among the group, but the reunion is a nuisance to Rio, who has already bid farewell to his former life.

To thank him for his aid, Liselotte offers Rio and his friends free accommodation for their stay in Amande, hoping to forge a good relationship with him going forward. All the while, sinister forces targeting her and the city of Amande draw closer...
