With the advent of artificial intelligence, we are now able to interpret the written word in ways never before possible. In this book, we will explore how AI can be used to interpret books and generate new content. To do this, we have selected 1-2 page passages from 50 famous public domain books and asked the OpenAI software questions to show the level it (a) understands the text on the page, (b) interpret what may have instigated the current passage and predict what would happen next and finally (c) be inspired by the text, but rewrite it as a different type of story.

Aside from the selected passages, the content that comes after this introduction has been generated with GPT-3, OpenAI's large-scale language-generation model. Upon generating the language, the author has reviewed and reformatted to fit the structure of the and takes ultimate responsibility for the content of this publication.
