Description
Read the bestseller everyone is talking about!
"A cleverly constructed suspense thriller." —Chicago Tribune, Printer's Row
"A twisty, roller coaster ride of a debut. Fans of Gone Girl will embrace this equally evocative tale." —Lisa Gardner, #1 New York Times bestselling author
"Riveting psychological thriller."—Lisa Scottoline, New York Times bestselling author on Don't You Cry
"I've been following her for the past few days. I know where she buys her groceries, where she has her dry cleaning done, where she works. I don't know the color of her eyes or what they look like when she's scared. But I will."
One night, Mia Dennett enters a bar to meet her on-again, off-again boyfriend. But when he doesn't show, she unwisely leaves with an enigmatic stranger. At first Colin Thatcher seems like a safe one-night stand. But following Colin home will turn out to be the worst mistake of Mia's life.
When Colin decides to hide Mia in a secluded cabin in rural Minnesota instead of delivering her to his employers, Mia's mother, Eve, and detective Gabe Hoffman will stop at nothing to find them. But no one could have predicted the emotional entanglements that eventually cause this family's world to shatter.
An addictively suspenseful and tautly written thriller, The Good Girl is a propulsive debut that reveals how even in the perfect family, nothing is as it seems.

Not an enjoyable read
2By dominolouisThe author adopted a style of writing used by many others but lacked the ability to make it work.Just ok
3By Chiquita_77I give it a 3.5 because I liked the book. A little too much back & forth. A little too much rhetoric. Really thought I was going to love the ending, until the last chapter. Then wham! Seems another easy out, with a plot twist that really doesn’t make sense. Sigh… oh well on to the next one.Surprise ending!
4By ncthrillerrdrI’m usually pretty good at guessing the ending of these kind of mysteries but this one pulled a “gotcha” on me!The ending was…meh
4By TiffanyGriffin10I saw the twist miles ahead but the ending felt rushed and brushed over and also repetitive.Good read.
5By NeideNoahThis story was predictable until………it wasn’t!Wow. The ending!
5By SkranakDidn’t expect thatThe Good Girl
4By Attn2DTailsThis book kept you on the edge of your seat! Riveting! I did predict the ending, but still enjoyed the outcome! The Good Girl
5By backgateVery interesting and never dreamed the way this would endWow.
4By bunttrinThis book may take more than a few chapters to get to any good juicy details and I’ll admit that what I thought was the ending to this book was boring. I WAS MISTAKEN. I have recently started reading and how found that I really like Mary Kubica’s books. I thought I had guessed the plot twist but I had not. It’s a good, solid read and I will continue to read Mary’s books.Too long
2By michecodyThere was not enough action or twists in the book and it seemed like a shallow/unrealistic view of humanity.Grape trees?
4By JN4126Great plot. But where is the editor? Grapes grow on vines, not trees. The Good Girl
5By 49binkWhat an amazing twist I never saw coming. Great read !Excellent work of fiction
5By Asherr1This book has characters you empathize with, twists and turns that keep you wondering and an ending that you never see coming! I could not put this book down until I had finished it.Not disappointed
5By luv2 shopI thought it was a great read and ending tugged a heart singAwful
1By creatinedreamAn extremely boring and pointless read. The characters are flat and unremarkable. You’d think that men only care about sex and guns from the way they’re written in this book. The plot twists can be seen from a mile away, this is coming from someone who rarely ever anticipates twists. Don’t waste your money or time.Couldn’t put it down
5By Jewel....Excellent.Loved it!
5By DekxIzxkxSooo good!!! Loved the ending, what a twist!!Great Read!
5By Bender.KatieBest book I’ve read in a while!Review
3By EGlenn3Interesting plot but a little slow at times. Easy read though! I enjoy the author’s writing style.
