Description

Meet the sexy, dangerous, tortured men of the Great Wolves M.C. and the strong women they love.

Dex - When they locked me away for another man's crime they called it justice. When they set me free they called that justice too. But their damned justice cost me my freedom, my family, my club, and the only woman I ever wanted ... Ava.

Now I'm back. Only two things have kept me sane all these years. I want to hurt the man responsible for sending me to prison and end his hold over the Great Wolves M.C. forever. And I want the feel of Ava's body beneath mine again. I need to watch the way she surrenders only to me and makes me whole. It's selfish of me to think Ava would wait for me.
But, I'm a selfish man and it's time for me to take back what's mine.

Ava - At night, sometimes I still dream of what it felt like when Dex touched me. He awakened things in me, made me burn for him like no other man has since. But those are just dreams, aren't they? The years, distance, and the battles I've fought have made me remember Dex as something more than he really was. Except now he's back, stirring my body and heart even though my head knows better. I can't let him take me back into his world...the club, the violence, the heartache.
I can't survive loving or losing him all over again and we both know there's only one way this can end.

***This is a standalone, full length romance novel introducing the men of the Great Wolves M.C. Each book is interconnected and part of a series. They DO NOT contain cliffhangers.***

I am a huge fan of this author and currently I have received this book for free for my free and unbiased review. This book has a little for every true romance book lover. This book and main story begins initially in the authors Torrid book series. This book and the series are both standalone works, however I would highly recommend you read the Torrid book series to truly understand the complexity of Dex life and love. This book has a little mystery, intrigue and most of all love interest. Would I recommend this novel, most definitely and her Billionaire's series also.

This was the first book I've read by this author,as I mentioned it was very descriptive. I don't think I'll purchase the next,it wasn't horrible it just wasn't for me. Mobs and motorcycle gangs and all the cliches that go with them, if you like that then this series is for you.

Not what I expected, but I very much enjoyed the story. Ava got on my nerves. Make a decision already. I agree with her. She is a hypocrite. In any event, I think you'll love the story. Very exciting. I may have to purchase Sly next. Enjoy!

A Review of Dex by Jayne Blue Dex was framed for another man's crime and locked away in prison for life. Luckily for him, his daughter (Tora from Torrid) was able to dig up the truth about framing and he was exonerated. However, it took thirteen years of his life - costing him his freedom, family and the woman he wanted. To protect Ava, he did everything he could to push her away, even to the point of being cruel. Ava did the best she could to move on with her life, but Dex awakened things in her that ruined her for any other man. She has her own battle scars now, so when she finds out that Dex has been released and is back in town, she finds it hard to trust that he is really standing in front of her. She is so afraid to touch him, in case it is just a dream and he disappears when she reaches out, but she can also see the same fears on his face. Her body is still in tune with his and is drawn to him, regardless of the fact that her head says she needs to stay away from him. Both of them know that there is only one way this can end - with the destruction of the one person that set up all their heartache and misery - George Pagano. There are lots of twists and turns in this story, but it is definitely one you don't want to miss. I can hardly wait to get Sly's story and find out what happens with him. Jayne has a way with writing her characters that draws you in from the first page. Great job! ********** **Complimentary Copy provided by Author for an honest review.**
