I now understand why my past attempts to learn other languages (French, German, Latin) have left me with little more than a smattering of random vocabulary words. After reading this book, I'm inspired to try again. If you would like more control over your learning process, you're serious about learning a language and you like the idea of discovering techniques that are well researched, this book is VERY much worth it.
