Ruth Edna Kelley (1893-1982) was an American librarian and author. She is best known for her The Book of Hallowe'en. It is the first book about the history of this holiday. She was born in Massachusetts being the only child in the family. She had a master of arts degree. Kelley died in Marblehead. She was 88.
