5By AbbyChuaThis is a fantastic set of comics. I personally own all the first 16 issues and the complete first volume physically, and own the first few issues on my computer. This series brushes and covers aliens, murder, mystery and time travel. I would recommend this to someone looking to get absorbed in a story that is complex but keeps you interested. For children, I would recommend this to 12 year olds and up depending on maturity. As an avid comic book reader, I can guarantee you that MOST modern comics are NOT meant for younger children. Doing your research as a parent BEFORE you allow your small ones to read a recent comic book should be assumed. Skimming the pages, you can easily see it contains weapon imagery and murder. Rating a book 1 star because you didn’t check it for your child beforehand for mature language doesn’t help others in finding great reads; reviews are for rating content, story, imagery, and recommendations.
