Description
He hates the holidays. She's married to her work. Love isn't on either of their Christmas lists.
Buster Griffin doesn't do relationships. After getting burned, the grumpy, tattooed baker is happy to spend December up to his elbows in dough and avoiding anything that twinkles. Then Willow Harper walks into his bakery bringing a business deal that stirs up trouble.
Growing up with hippie parents taught Willow to recycle like a pro and hate a transient lifestyle. Her plan is to work until she gets the security she craves. When she's offered a promotion, all she needs is a signature from a sexy baker to achieve it. It should have been easy… not so much!
Can a boss who demands results, a Christmas carnival and a whole lot of small town craziness help Buster and Willow stop fighting their attraction long enough to realize that, in fact, the secret ingredient is love?

3By Tiggy/CookieI haven’t read this author before, and for the most part I enjoyed this story. All the characters and the description of the small town leading up to Christmas were interesting and fun. I realized this was a series about different couples that were a close knit bunch of friends about halfway through, but it is a standalone read. There are sex scenes, a little too descriptive for my taste, but to each their own.If your like Robyn Carr's Virgin River series
4By Merrie29Lake Howling is your place. Snappy and funny dialogue, characters you wish you could be friends with and a great supporting cast. My only fault with the books is that the author teases at the characters' pasts but doesn't delve into it. How did Buster end up in NY? Is his cafe still open there? Who runs it? That kind of thing but still a fun easy read and well written. Thanks Wendy Vella, now I'm hooked. I want Newmans story please.
