Great Addition to Series
4By hkmd7To Claim His Mate is Book 5 in the Crescent Moon Shifter Series. This paranormal series is a must read for me. I enjoy the interaction of the characters. All the books can be read as a stand-alone, although characters from prior books make appearances in subsequent books. I really liked the Alyssa and Reece’s story. Reece had seen Alyssa from a distance and contacted her father (the Alpha of her pack) to arrange and mating/meeting. Alyssa was against this at first but once she meets Reece and gets to know him she seems to be onboard with the mating. He makes her feel “things”. Alyssa over-hears Reece talking to another member of his pack about the mating being for business reasons only – she was developing feelings for him so hearing this hurts her and offends her “wolf”. She leaves – then telephones Reece and tells him she is not interested in mating. Reece tries to find her (she left her pack to stay with a friend) and the story is what he does and how he acts to attempt to win her back. It was a quick read with some steamy scenes.
