Description
All Tasha Pike has wanted for the past twenty years is to rent Sand Dollar Point for a summer. The grand Victorian on the beach of Summerbury, Maine was the object of her childhood fantasy and her standard of romance—and it was finally happening. Her dream summer is ruined, however, when she arrives in Summerbury to find that Hollywood superstar Spencer Ellis has muscled his way into the house instead. His offer that they share Sand Dollar Point is not only infuriating—it's insulting.
He's a celebrity, and one she's determined to hate.
Spencer's summer in Maine was supposed to help him get his head screwed on straight. One look at Tasha, however, made that impossible. She's beautiful. She's angry. She doesn't care who he is. She doesn't care about his fame. In fact, she doesn't even like him.
She's irresistible.
He's only got the summer. She's only got her heart. They've only got each other.
Reviews
Excellent summer read
4By chamofbhamThis is a great little summer read. The characters are well described and interesting. Set in a beautiful beach town in Maine, highly recommend.Summer with a Star
3By hatzombieIt was ok. Tasha being so insecure got old real quick. I didn’t feel a connection at all between Spence and Tasha. Felt forced. Non believable.Sand dollar
3By lynn kayInteresting read, just wish they would stop the bad language, it doesn’t add to the story. Truly there are enough words to use others, without being low class.Summer with a Star
5By Pins4Great read. Loved the characters and the view. Loved the ending. Can’t wait to read more!Loved it 💜💜
5By Unsure30147Loved this book...had some very sexy love scenes i wanted to keep reading the series but can't pay for the rest of the books😩Summer with a star
1By NolaWin65This book is boring. I skipped most of the pages and that was still left too many. Don't waste your time!Overall good story
4By MrsJuarez0505I was getting so tired of the main character doubting herself tho!!! That got wayyyy too frustrating for me... Man up girl!Mostly Irritating
2By ThruMyArtistEyesI tried to finish the book and while I like some aspects of the two main characters, the dialogue in this book is mostly amateur. It's also irritating the way Tasha talks down on herself throughout the book.Heartwarming
5By pithepoI loved this heartwarming book because of the honesty of the lead characters, the witty dialogue, fun supporting characters, and scenes that sizzle. As a celebrity, Spencer finds himself burned out and needing time away from the public eye. He gets more than he bargained for during his vacation. You never know when or where you're going to find love. Although I was often irritated by the inner turmoil of Miss Pike, the book reveals her journey of learning to trust and feel worthy which can be rocky. So Good!
5By MusicluvorA little cliche but so worth it. I read it all in one day I was so hooked! It's just such a great story.
