5By ericmperrymdI am a physician and deal day in and day out with patients that battle obesity and diabetes with little improvement despite repeated visits in the office with re-educating them about weight loss methods (decrease calories and exercise more). My default reason for their failure has been to blame the patient for obviously ‘not following directions’. Now I know why they continue to fail. The Obesity Code completely changed my thinking about weight loss. I too have struggled with the ‘calories in less than calories out’ and likewise would eventually fail. Taking Dr. Fung’s advice, I have finally lost the weight and kept it off (and my fatty liver resolved as well!) The medical field needs to completely re-educate itself about the hormonal cause of obesity so we can better treat our patients.The Obesity Code
