Fantastic beats unique writing style
5By fat quinnJust as good as the Harry Potter because it’s unique writing style. The style goes into the world we all ready know and goes in a different direction . Yeah maybe it’s more dark but that doesn’t mean it’s bad .I watched the movie... it was really dark
3By boogyboyboogy1234So I only watched the movie and like I said it was really dark. It had not witchcraft that Harry Potter had, I feel like that was good witchcraft and wizardry but the movie was pretty creepy. With that little girl who was evil and was like killing everyone I did not like it! I still love Harry Potter, it very captivating in the world of hogwarts. Not an enjoyable movie but I’ll se about the bookEpic
5By ✨Shadowfax✨First and foremost, Newt is my favorite. Ever. Secondly: some people think this story doesn’t deserve all the hype it gets. I disagree. Remember how the first Harry Potter book was more of a simple, innocent story that grew into something deeper? I think Fantastic Beasts will do the same—just give it time. But I’m not saying the first story is boring. In fact, it’s the opposite! We get a glimpse into magic in America, and learn about new creatures. And the characters completely blew me away! ...especially Newt. 😊🧳🦄 P.S: We get a protagonist who’s a Hufflepuff? Yes please!Just like thdmovie
4By Wilsoncm123It is just like the movie but so much more when u read it. Wish it was more detailed but as a hard core HP fan, what can you expect. An enjoyable read. What’s love and where we find who says it first and foremost...
5By snake bitten78If anything picks me up long enough to put me down, I cherish the lives that pity no time left to write anything that I’d ever consider to be wronged, or simply left still, anxiously awaiting a true Listener’s lament.Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
5By MemeticThis is magic for adults and I loved it. A bit thin on the plot but very entertaining. I look forward to a meatier sequel, yes?Edited to the final cut of the film.
3By Film Score NerdThere are several deleted scenes on the bluray that are not included in this. Including the Ilvermorney school song. I was hoping for the complete script. Oh well.Isn't a book. It's a stupid script
1By CrankyOldNerdI'm sick of the money grab that this is. I preordered it expecting the novelization of the movie. Instead I get a digital script. Lame money grabAbsolutely Fantastic!!
5By Zebracorn27So I have the hardback version of this book and I got it for Christmas. I saw the movie before I read the book and the book blew my mind! I wasn't sure if it would be able to put all the emotion of the movie into a screenplay but J.K did it. I like fantastic beasts more than Harry Potter cause it's not as dark as some of the last books like The Deathly Hallows or The Half Blood Prince. They're still awesome reads but it's just a little dark for me. And super sad like *SPOILER* and *HUGE SPOILER* deaths. Fantastic Beasts is an awesome read and I've read it 3 or 4 times already so go buy it!!Review: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay
5By LisaHines711Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay by J.K. Rowling is exactly that, a screenplay of the movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016). This movie/screenplay storyline is inspired by the textbook of the same name that was released in 2001 also by J.K. Rowling (Part of the Hogwarts Library Series). Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a bestiary of magical creatures from the Harry Potter universe and proceeds from the sale of the original textbook version go to Comic Relief. With all that out of the way - this screenplay was a fantastic (see what I did there?) read. Having seen the movie first it was like watching it all over again but in my mind. The scene descriptions, the dialogue, everything was just like the movie. It was a quick and enjoyable read and if there are future screenplay versions of the next four Fantastic Beast movies made available I will definitely be interested in reading them also. How not to write a screenplay
1By G.P.K.This is a prime example of someone who has no clue how to formally write a screenplay, good thing the franchise sells itself. Any screenwriter could use this as primary curriculum to show all the mistakes untrained writers make in screen writing. Example- he is running toward the train. (No) He runs toward the train. "Ing" is almost never used in screenwriting. I'm sure the story is entertaining to some, but the writing should not be lauded.Optional left.
5By SF_NinersGirl... JKR is ridiculously talented. The end. This movie though -- can't wait. Note ... people who read for fun are supposed to be clever enough to know "waste" versus "waist". "Wasting money" "Waist size" Personally ...I wouldn't take book review advice from someone who doesn't want to "waist money". 🤦🏻♀️Loved it, but....
5By AdmgatorThe screenplay was great but does not compare to writing of JKR's books. PLEASE give us these wonderful stories in book-form as well!I love this movie!
5By TimoklesThis is the besg movie in the Harry Potter series. I like the original books more, of course, but this is the best movie. I can't wait to see all 5!Master stroke
5By sXioI didn't have high hope in a screenplay type of the fantastic beast story, but it turns out i was wrong. Emotions and sense of marvel can be felt in each words of the book. And i finished the book moved and curious to see how the movie will set this all up.Sounds interesting
5By Kiki evansI haven't yet read this book but I am very hopeful that it will be just as entertaining as the Harry Potter series. I hope that an audiobook version will be available on day one for those kids who have difficulty reading in book form.Boi
5By Darth_LumeniThe play script for the cursed child ripped out my soul so I'd guess the screenplay for fantastic beasts should do more or less the sameThis Is The Script Not The Original Book
4By Che Quique's iTunesNow that the title gets that out of the way, let me tell you the following: I have the original book (hard bound) published by Scholastic plus the original ebook released by Pottermore Store; they are both the same and entertaining reading, indeed. However, I'm pre-ordering this title so I can, as I did with "The Cursed Child", let my imagination take flight and visualize this wonderful world that a whole bunch of us has come to love!NOT FOR THE MONEY
5By CsturgjrThanks for sharing that tip, now people will do it and they will put a stop on it. Kind of like the movie sites, shhhh, some of us like having that option. On the other hand, I'll buy this when it comes on audio, so I can listen before going to sleep. So, I'll pay regardless, because J.K is an amazing writer with unbelievable imagination. Anyone who says she isn't, only reads, "The Enquirer," waiting at the checkout line.
