“Beautifully written and incredibly funny, Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine is about the importance of friendship and human connection. I fell in love with Eleanor, an eccentric and regimented loner whose life beautifully unfolds after a chance encounter with a stranger; I think you will fall in love, too!” —Reese Witherspoon
No one’s ever told Eleanor that life should be better than fine.
Meet Eleanor Oliphant: She struggles with appropriate social skills and tends to say exactly what she’s thinking. Nothing is missing in her carefully timetabled life of avoiding social interactions, where weekends are punctuated by frozen pizza, vodka, and phone chats with Mummy.
But everything changes when Eleanor meets Raymond, the bumbling and deeply unhygienic IT guy from her office. When she and Raymond together save Sammy, an elderly gentleman who has fallen on the sidewalk, the three become the kinds of friends who rescue one another from the lives of isolation they have each been living. And it is Raymond’s big heart that will ultimately help Eleanor find the way to repair her own profoundly damaged one.
Soon to be a major motion picture produced by Reese Witherspoon, Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine is the smart, warm, and uplifting story of an out-of-the-ordinary heroine whose deadpan weirdness and unconscious wit make for an irresistible journey as she realizes. . .
The only way to survive is to open your heart.
Quirky and compelling5By ShawnarogersWhile the topic and life events of this character are dark and disturbing, the author finds a way to bring hope and light to her life. Eleanor is quirky and yet so likable, with the reasons for her mannerisms slowly revealed. This story is compelling and kept me engaged throughout. It also left me thoughtful about the humanity around us and that everyone has a story and no one should have to travel their journey alone.

Must read.5By KikiKelRFantastic. Could not put it down. What a heart-warming story about loneliness and friendship, as well as self-awareness and care. Eleanor is a truly inspirational under-dog.
Wonderful book!5By trumpet singerA very cleverly written story about a socially awkward woman and her escape from her childhood trauma through the love and friendship of a few good people( and some good therapy). I fell in love with Eleanor Oliphant!
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine5By supersupersuper fanI loved this book. I can state all the cliches: I laughed. I cried. I couldn’t put it down.
Holy Cow5By Alive10I loved this book from cover to cover. It ended too soon. I wish we could have known more of Eleanors triumph over tragedy. But nonetheless this was a page turner that I couldn’t put down!
Eleanor is Completely Fine5By TbertsSlow at first (for me) but was captivated by Eleanor and makes me want to make some life changes. Loved it and would recommend!
An enjoyable read!5By 1TravelbonThis book made me laugh, and it made me cry. I love the voice of Eleanor, and especially enjoy the vocabulary she uses. I look forward to more books by this author.
I loved it5By dest185If you’re a survivor, in any capacity, I urge you to read this! And if you’re lucky enough that you’re not a survivor, you should read it too. Eleanors life is funny, quirky, tragic and riddled with trauma. Following her through healing and self discovery was truly inspiring.
Eleanor Oliphant is Just Fine5By Joan GrayEleanor Oliphant was such a good read—so full of humor, humanity at it’s worst and best, and the affect both of those opposites has on an individual! What an awesome novel! I could not stop reading!
