5By J. O'FarrellRating this historical romance novel with five stars is an honor. It is beautifully written and all encompassing. The characters are so real that I want to read more about their exciting, devoted lives. The themes that are symbolized by the veracious river, growth of both civilization, love and independence are intertwined so thoughtfully that it is definitely difficult to put the book down!! These unforgettable characters need at least two more sequels!! Patricia, thank you for sharing your precious talent with so many readers.Love this author
5By RedBCKCLove this author and the story is my favorite by far this year. Loved the story line, surprises in the story and characters, really loved the lively characters. Must read!!😐
1By Alexa_me99I have no idea why these 2 people are together..... Also the main female character is a snob (throughout the book she seemed to be looking down at people, especially native Americans) and a bit overly dramatic.
