This book is layered with questions and intensity. The Silver Swan had me wanting more of The Elite Kings, their secrets, and the way they treated Madison as if she were a prize. Part of me had mixed feelings on how this book would end, but nothing prepared me for how it did end.

Let me just say this book will have you on the edge of your seat. I absolutely loved the suspense, and I could barely put the book down. In fact I ended up reading the entire book in two days. I definitely recommend this book 100%.

Slow, slow, slow. Get to the point already. Going on and on, not getting anywhere. Could have made this much shorter and so less tedious!
  • Heart Pounding

I don't know if I have more questions than I have answers at this point but that was freaking awesome! Gah my heart is still pounding! This is twisted in the most amazing storyline ever. Madison has most definitely drawn the end of the stick with what she has I'm store for her future. She's thrown into the land of the Elite Kings after her father starts dating her new step-brothers mom. Nate, her step-bro is like always there when she least expects, claiming to be on babysitting duty. It's disturbing at times and then others you think he wants her. The leader of the Elite Kings, Bishop notices her the very first day and it doesn't help that Nate puts her in the spotlight. However Bishop is brooding and hard to read, it seems her wants Maddie for his own. Secrets and deceptions follow her everywhere she goes and the games the Kings play are no laughing matter. It's dark and twisted into a captivating storyline that pulls you in deeper into the Elite Kings.

Gossip Girl meets Pretty Little Liars meets The Skulls. So many secrets. So many lies. I don't even know where to start with this book and not give anything away. And where has this author been all my life?! Amo has woven a story that kept me on edge until the very end. The plot was something I've never read before. The characters were strong and never once did I find myself rolling my eyes at something they said or did. And they're teenagers!! That in itself is a feat. The heroine Madison has a past. A past that we only get snippets of throughout the book and makes you realize the author is only giving you pieces to keep you intrigued and on the hook. What exactly happened with her mom? What's going on with her dad? We only get rumors and a few actual facts from Madison. I have a feeling when things come to light they are going to rock our worlds. Then there is the Elite Kings Club. Who are they? What is their purpose? They are hot, I'll tell you that. And maybe not so nice guys. But do we really believe that as the story starts to unfold? I'm not entirely convinced they are the bad guys yet even though Amo writes them on a way you almost have to believe it. I love those boys and I'm excited to see how their part in this story manifests. If you're looking for a book that will keep you on edge and maybe even make you want to throw it across the room at times then I highly suggest The Silver Swan. This book has everything and I mean everything to hatch a great story and I know without a doubt this is just the beginning of a wild ride.
