Sometimes a "Young Adult" book is a great all around story. This is one of those books.

Dragons. Right. Teenage girls don’t believe in fairy tales, and sixteen-year old Elena Watkins was no different.
Until the night a fairy tale killed her father.
Now Elena’s in a new world, and a new school. The cutest guy around may be an evil dragon, a Prince wants Elena’s heart, and a long dead sorcerer may be waking up to kill her. Oh. And the only way Elena’s going to graduate is on the back of a dragon of her own.
Teenage girls don’t believe in fairy tales. Now it’s time for Elena to believe – in herself.

5By SennyPetriI enjoyed the blending of the world of dragons with ours. It proved to be a good well thought out tale with great characters with many differing personalities.Interesting title, entices the young mind and relates to the story ;)
4By Agent_RomeThe book is well rounded, covers many teen topics with plenty of romance, action, and plain old excitement. Would recommend to any young readers with a healthy taste for fantasy.Great book that keeps you hooked!
5By AnnMin1004I was skeptical at first to read this because I had just tried (and failed) to finish another ya series Alpha Girls (I just couldn’t keep reading it, sorry) but the way this story is written just kept the page turning for me. As someone said, it may need more editing, but overall I really liked the story it told and I look forward to reading the next books in the series!5/5
5By Genma Atreides5/5 definitely told a few people about this series. This book is sooo amazing
5By Yonna❤️I literally have read it (the whole series) like 4 times. I absolutely love it💯❤️Love the story, but missing so many details
3By meggoo_my_eggooOkay, so I really love this story and the idea of it, but the writing is hard to read through. I feel like it was missing SO many details and it jumped around to different topics so it was a little hard to keep up with. I just kept feeling like i was missing something, but I kept reading it because i wanted to know more and know what happens! I’m going to keep reading this series though with hopes that the writing style improves.Excellent Story
5By Roxxt4csyEngaging and well constructed environment, coming back for more!Loved series, but Yikes on editing.
4By Happy Reader 252ENJOYED entire series! Loved strong female protagonists! Wish could recommend for schools, but POOR editing...MANY GRAMMAR mistakes, plus several spelling/typosOmg, I’m only on the first chapter
4By potateCriticI luv it so far! It could use a little fixing up in a few places and I’m only on the first chapter. I love how realistically clumsy Elena(or what ever I can’t spell today don’t Jude me) is!—I feel like like I’m reading about my long lost twin sister! It’s awesome and so original! I am so inspired by this work of art! Keep it up!!!!! It’s a have-to-read if you like mystical books! (Also, Lol sorry about my user name, I did it when I was like six and I don’t know how to Change it so imma use my warrior cat name lol) Love and respect, LionBounce
