Great characters with fun personalities to make everything interesting. The storyline is seductive and entertaining. The reality show concept is especially intriguing because it confirms the suspicions that it is contrived all for ratings. Love Sadie and Gear! They have been hurt in the past and that makes them cautious with plans to go slow but, their relationship goes from zero to sixty from the start. That's scary particularly for Sadie but, the are absolutely made for each other. Marie Harte knows how to draw you in and get you invested in her characters. I recommend this Halloween treat as well as her other books. They are always a good time. I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.

If you’re looking for a fabulously fun, scorchingly hot read, snuggle up with All I Want For Halloween. Marie Harte consistently writes the pants off of her romantic comedies. I love them! I love the often outrageous characters, the heartwarming family dynamics, the snappy dialogue and witty banter, and most especially the sexy, sexy chemistry that inevitably results in my very favorite thing … steamy shenanigans between the sheets. Or against the wall. Yessss! There’s so much going on in this story that it’s like a big, fat Greek wedding! But the scenes are well-balanced and the writing is fab. Motorcycle Madnezz has imploded and Gear Blackstone is trying to steer clear of all the reality show fallout and his crazy ex-fiance. Sadie Liberato just wants to bake cookies, cupcakes, and Halloween treats and let her siblings handle the customers and public relations for their bakery. Not too much to ask, right? Apparently, it is. Sadie and Gear are an ideal match—they’re both introverts, value their privacy and alone time, are rough and growly, love working out at the gym, eating junk food, and punching people. They’ve both been burned, so while they are madly attracted to each other—how could they not be after that hot rendezvous behind the bamboo—they both fight it. Until they don’t. And then they do. Five knock-out stars and a bag of Baby Ruth bars to All I Want For Halloween!

This book was my catnip! I freakin loved it and was very entertained! I'll tell you right now this book won't be for everyone. Our main characters, Sadie and Gear are antisocial, blunt and in your face. People like that can come off as crass, mean and in Gears case, a misogynist. I can relate...well not with the misogynist part, but I digress. Here's a secret for you, they aren't any of these things. Well maybe a little mean... The banter between these two had me laughing out loud. A lot. It got a little embarrassing since I was reading in public through part of this. This was just a refreshing change to the google eyed romances. It was real and fun. These two actually communicated with each other. They didn't care about offending because they knew they were cut from the same cloth. That's not to say there wasn't a bit of insecurity in both of them and when it got real, the communication hiccuped just a bit, but then they got right back to who they were as people. Honestly, I would kill for more characters like this. I felt at home with these two. This author also provided us with some really great side characters that just took this story to the top for me. I will beg for more books with these side characters. Especially Smoke. Please, please, please tell me you are writing Smoke and Iris' story Marie Harte! Loved it! ARC provided by NetGalley.
