First time reading this author the storyline was completely different from what I read it just pulls you in the reclusive,horse rescue,mystery of what happened to him and how she’s able to get through him kept me guessing,will be the next in series..

I wasn’t sure about this at the beginning, but it quickly pulled me into the story and I practically read it in one sitting. Good characters and strong plot with a believable story line that makes you cry for the boy and hopeful for the man. Glad I read this and I will likely continue the series. I do have a bone to pick with the initial jump into the story and the unnecessary angst for Kelsey’s character. I really think there had to be a better way to set up the initial meeting.

The characters were fantastic and the story was interesting and beautiful. What a ride!

Wow. This is an exceptional read, from beginning to end. I truly enjoyed the layers of this man, and the generosity of spirit, which sits like a deep well, allowing him to retain his humanity. Oh, and that fierce young woman! As I spent hours reading, I felt like Declan, after he’d been working for hours. I had to force myself to get up and move. Nicely done!

One the best books I’ve read this year. The story line, interesting, lots of turns that kept my interest. The main characters from opposite upbringing and yet they were brought together. Hard to put book down. Emotional, lots of emotions but a wonderful ending. Thank You.

I can’t believe this book was free! This is such a wonderful story. I loved the storyline & characters. Very good read. Absolutely fantastic book.

This, and Whiskey River Runaway are the best books I have read in months, and I read several a week. They are so full of just plain goodness and love, but not the least bit syrupy and ‘sweet’. Such a gift Justine has, such an accepting heart that understands human frailty, hope, and need. Thank you, thank you!

This is an excellently written tale of pain and redemption. It is refreshing to read a romance that is about more than sex scenes and mind numbing filler in between.

Couldn’t put it down. Didn’t want it to end. I never leave reviews on books but I had to for this one. Loved it! Highly recommend’
