4By SBart79A historical romance that takes place in San Antonio Texas. Full of mystery and intrigue that will keep you turning the pages. Loved Angie and her sister, both strong headed women who are supplying food to the Texians. Lorenzo is a convict soldier. When Angie and Lorenzo meet, there is no denying the chemistry between them. Loved the banter between the two, had me laughing out loud. Looking forward to the next book in the series. I am not a big historical reader but I did enjoy the story.Historical Romance

A historical romance with lots of mystery and twists and not knowing who can be trusted. I enjoyed Lorenzo and Angie's story and loved the banter and chemistry between Lorenzo and Angie. The supporting characters added to the story. The story was enjoyable but felt a little long. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
