Description
Seven Days of Friday opens with Days of the Week underwear and closes with a forty-year-old secret that refuses to stay submerged.
Thirty-four-year-old Vivi Tyler is living her nightmare: gay husband, self-harming teenager, melodramatic mother. They're picking apart her sanity, one stitch at a time. She's crawling along rock bottom when the arrival of a mysterious package opens a new door to a new country. A desperate Vivi dives headfirst into the quicksand that is Greece—her parents' birthplace.
But it's a paradise far from perfect, and instead of the new beginning she covets, Vivi discovers trouble is determined to keep her in its pocket. Soon she's fighting for her daughter's life in a Greek hospital, clashing with her Greek relatives, and cobbling together an inadequate cage around her heart, lest she fall for an unavailable man.
Reviews
Drama & Humor - a great combo
5By TerryS8Alex A. King certainly knows how to turn the ordinary into a punchline. The story of Vivi in search of a new life for herself and her troubled daughter is a great read. Vivi’s candor and humor, not to mention the colorful characters she struggles to comprehend, and sometimes avoid, will make you stay up late with the mantra “just one more chapter.”Seven Days of Friday
4By Elena JetA fun read with bits of whimsy and craziness all rolled into one story. Learned more about Greek food and the countryside than when visiting in person.Very cute story

5By Tonya!!!I loved so much about this book: the characters, the setting and the original story line. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. Not a Romantic Comedy
3By SpeechstitchThis book should not have been classified as a romantic comedy. Yes there are funny bits, but murder is not what I expect to find in this genreGood Read
