Description

Unforgiveness stems from anger, a root of bitterness that has been germinated, by unyielding pains and wounds suffered by the individuals. It is so much easier to dodge behind the brick wall of unforgiveness; stay in the comfort zone of malignant resentment with the pretence that nothing has happened rather than face their fear, rehash the past and deal with it. However, unforgiveness attacks the body with deadly poisons “What many parents failed to understand is that they are the first of everything teacher. The home is the first church, the parents the first minister or the first bible a child will read. A child sees the world through the eyes of his parents.

About ten years ago my daughter Claudia Lewin, the president of “Light of The World Theatrical Ministry,” was inspired to write the script “The First Heartbreak. As an eyewitness to fatherlessness in the home she realized how much this number one phenomenon has affected children throughout their lives. She has a massage for sons and daughters that have experienced heartbreaks with their spouses. Many times this may trace back to their homes, as the parent or parents were usually the first to have broken that child’s heart.

She therefore began this aspect of her ministry by dramatizing the script. She, at first, brought it to local churches with only two actors. With the encouragement and support of family and friends however, The First Heartbreak was launched with full cast members in November of 2016, off Broadway in New York, New York. When I saw the play in full color, I was spellbound and heart challenged. I was moved to use the script as the underpinning of the writing of this book.

Claudia is, therefore, motivated by the rave reviews that she has received, to, by God’s grace take “The First Heart Break” on the road to  spread the message of hope, love and forgiveness, as she faces, head on, the accompanying challenges.
