Description

Day by day, Lydia's mastery of her storm-wielding grows. But whether gift or curse, her achievements are dampened by recent losses, and Taylor's inability to fully heal from his near-death experience. As worry for their future increases, Ryan faces his past once more in a bid to secure the happy future he glimpsed for them all.

The full moon is upon them. The Trident are unstoppable in their savage expansion; Selena is all but gone.

However, secrets are still being uncovered amid the whispers of time and its shifting sand - an ancient, mystical past is about to catch up with the present. Sarah might be carrying more than she'd bargained for.

Meanwhile, Lawrence has his own battle to face and life-altering decisions to make - and not just to his life. His duties as King could yet overrule his duties as mate. When the outcome is the sure extinction of the species you are responsible for, what do you sacrifice to keep it alive?

(Written in British English. Contains scenes of explicit sex and violence that some readers may find disturbing. Reign of the Wolf is the last book of the Eye of the Storm series.)

Reign of the Wolf is the final installment of Dianna Hardy’s Eye of the Storm series. I was so excited to get my hands on this and it did not disappoint! My emotions were all over the place while reading this. My excitement and curiosity never disappeared but the laughs and tears and anxiety over what was going to happen next were just a constant revolving door. Dianna writes with such passion and intensity that brings each character to life. I feel like I know each and every one personally. So whatever they are feeling or going through, I felt like I was right there with them. Their pain was my pain, their joy my joy. Even the villains are written so perfectly. So even though some were down right horrific, they made me love to hate them. Others my heart broke for and I kept hoping for their redemption. I always feel when reading one of Dianna’s books there are no secondary characters, good or bad. Each character just brings another layer to the story that makes it whole and completes it. In this final leg of the story Lydia, Lawrence, Ryan and Taylor face their most challenging obstacles yet. But more than just the wolves are faced with trials and uncertainty. The tridents and humans also have their own to overcome. This final book was just absolutely epic. I think that is the only word that can be used to describe it. EPIC! It’s been a few days since I’ve read this and I have not been able to quit thinking about it. How everything came together and the absolute beauty of it all. This is a definite must read and a top recommendation for the entire series! You will not be disappointed!
