Algebra in Pictures Book 2

Algebra in Pictures Book 2 is the fourth book in the series, following the style of the previous books. Covering positive, negative and fractional indices, looking at surds and arithmetic with surds. The four rules are applied to fractions in algebra, comparing examples with fractions in arithmetic. Multiplying out brackets, including perfect squares and the difference of two squares and expressions with more than two terms, confirming results by looking at the areas of rectangles. Factorising two, three and four terms. Factorising quadratic expressions including examples requiring a trial and error approach, recognising perfect squares and the difference of two squares. Finally looking at changing the subject of a formula, comparing different methods and forms of the answer.
