Rachel has definitely grabbed my attention in this page turner. Looking forward to seeing what has happened to Lydia from the past. At least I hope to see if Rachel lets us in on it... Thanks Rachel for such a page turner

Okay, there are some books that fall into a cliche and you start reading them and then you can kinda guess what’s going to happen next. I thought this book was one of them. But I was WRONG. This book starts off with the, “persistent boy trying to get girl who has issues ” scheme but it’s more to that. The book is also about a girl who has things to heal herself from and a boy who is so will strong and so kind. It really is just an amazing book.

After trying to read Book One, I'm trying to remember what attracted me to it in the first place. The writing was decent, but nothing spectacular, and the plot was predictable, cliche, and boring. I thought Lydia was pretty one-dimensional. She was the typical "burned by a past relationship" lead who was pursued by the gorgeous, good guy. Nothing groundbreaking there. I was actually interested until the girls got to their girls' weekend, and then the cliches fell like rain. I didn't give Marcus much heed because I was so bored and desperate for something good that I skipped most of his short POV scenes. That's not to say HE was. Irony, but Lydia was given so much more camera time that I tended to land on her scenes throughout my skimming. As for the chemistry? There wasn't any. Lydia put up too many blocks and the writing wasn't unique enough to give me the feels. I simply can't say enough how uninspiring the whole story was. So there you are. A decent premise, bland writing, and a waste of time.

I love Rachel Duncan. She has the perfect blend of sweetness and humor that you love the characters. Great romance that I am looking forward to reading more about this cute couple
