It has a dark past—one in which a number of humans were killed. A past that caused it to christen itself “Murderbot”. But it has only vague memories of the massacre that spawned that title, and it wants to know more.

5By dickster0518Enjoy Murderbot stories and Wells’ full length novels. Grimace at the price of her works but she’s such a fine author I cannot begrudge her prosperity.Such a great story!
5By LMBfanWell written, great characters, excellent story!Tweener
4By Sputnick1986As a second book it was a good continuation of the story however it felt like a great story that was cut up into several pieces than individual books. This story was very short for $11. To get through the series it would take like $60-$70 for a story the same length as a $15-20 book with sever hundred pages. To each their own…Price to Length Ratio is a Bummer
3By HPFisherThe writing is great and the characters are intriguing. I’d keep reading the series but at $.62 cents-ish a page it isn’t worth it. Three stars for the pricing. When a singularity and a human collide
4By LeonF63Artificial Condition is an entertaining story. You meet the primary guest character and are left wondering how this will play out. Think of it as two of Stephen Hawking’s Singularities meet in an airlock, and highly intelligent mayhem ensues. Murderbot takes on a small and quick job to get access to what they are after. Mild physical violence depicted as disdainfully easy provides humor in several interactions. It is like listening to a demi-god’s thoughts during a battle with a human. Like the first novel, Murderbot needs a therapist to help address their self-doubts, negative self-talk, and general anxiety. It makes for a fun and quick read that is good for passing the time. I hope you enjoy it.Brilliant science fiction
5By St PaulWitty, thoughtful and well written. I love the android character!Truly heartwarming in such unexpected ways
5By JdvvvThis book is such a beautiful affirmation of neurodiversity. I would have not expected, but I found this series to be truly beautiful.(Lower price receives 5 stars) It’s a novella!
4By AllHailCaesar!Though I have enjoyed books 1 & 2, their length (or lack thereof) calls for a lower price, imho.Fun read, price out of line
4By Simple, GreatThis is a fun series, I enjoyed the first two immensely! That said, the page to $ ratio is whacked. I’ll wait to read the rest when they are packaged as a novel or I find them at a used bookstore.I live murderbot
5By MgreenoThis series is so engaging and funny! Highly recommend!
