Fun
4By bridbilA good fun readEntertaining Cozy Mystery
3By Anne42JaneThis was an entertaining cozy mystery. I like mysteries set in the '20s, '30s, and '40s (I totally blame Agatha Christie.) So, I am an easy mark for this series as it takes place in 1930s London, featuring Lady Ophelia Rample. Ophelia is a recent widow and because she is fabulously wealthy her eccentricities are tolerated by society. Basically, Ophelia and her friend Chaz are at a jazz club when a murder happens in the back rooms. Ophelia who had noticed some oddities throughout the night decides to investigate. Overall, I liked this book it didn't break any new ground or anything, but it was a fun read. I will probably continue on in the series.Very Enjoyable
5By DlymacGood mystery and characters and the look back at 1918 and to the flow of the story. A little romance and a kooky aunt and you’ll love the book.Easy read
3By Dizznee777Easy read. Lots of errors (may just be the free version). Also, I get a little annoyed at books (which is EVERY story I pick up lately) where the police are bumbling idiots. If you’re looking for a short, light adventure this may be for you. I don’t plan on reading any others in the series.Lady Rample Steps Out
4By PushpushStableThis cozy period piece combines mystery, fashion, and a hint of romance in a well written novel.
