4By enj0yl!f3I liked this book for its twists and turns that kept me turning the pages. In some ways I felt cheated despite the hint of a HEA ending for one of the characters. Loose ends were left hanging that I can only imagine will be cleared up as the series continues. It may be the fact that I prefer reading stand alone books in a series, of which I feel this isn’t, that gives me that cheated, left hanging feeling. It is a good book but I’ll have to wait until I’ve finished reading the whole series to know if loose ends are put to rest. Unfortunately when I went to buy the other 2 books in this series, I find I’m unable to buy them through Apple Books. This author is a good writer so if this doesn’t sound like something you like, please try other books by her.Suspenseful and Exciting
