The great-great-granddaughter of a slave, Michelle had inherited a certain strength and a faith that the best was always yet to come.  It was a strength and faith that would comfort her in hard times, help her through the challenges of attending both Princeton and Harvard, and eventually guide her to becoming a truly memorable--some might say magical--First Lady.
