Description

A man of integrity…with a secret desire
Moose Garrett just wants to do the right thing. Fulfill his duty. Honor his parents. Fix his neighbors’ tractors. Ignore the girl he needs to forget.
Everyone in Sawyer expects Moose to woo and wed the town beauty queen – not Georgia Rowland. Hell, Moose’s parents have all but signed a marriage contract with the revered patriarch of another wealthy Sawyer family.
So yeah, it’s true that Georgia’s been tempting him ever since he hit puberty and discovered the allure of the opposite gender, but that doesn’t mean he’s actually going to give into the temptation.
Georgia is strictly off limits.
Totally.
But matters of the heart are about as predictable as a wildfire – a wildfire that comes straight out of nowhere…and changes everything.

A woman who’s all business…with a secret crush
Georgia has spent a lot of years – roughly 26 of them or so – pretending Moose Garrett wasn’t the finest man in Sawyer. She pushes pesky thoughts of him clear out of her mind. She never pays a bit of attention to his powerful build, or how his blue jeans show off his lean and muscular body. And for the record, she barely even notices the way his slow, sultry smile makes her knees wobbly.
Because that hardly ever happens.
As the youngest branch manager of the Goldfork Credit Union, and the first female to hold that position, she’s too busy for any of that nonsense. Besides, everyone knows Moose is bound to marry Sawyer’s reigning beauty. Georgia is sure he’d never give a moment’s notice to…well, to someone like her.
But when Miss No Nonsense sets out on a hike in the foothills of Long Valley and gets trapped amidst the flames of a wildfire, the only man she’s ever wanted swoops in to save her.
So yeah, Moose is the last man she should dream about.
But he’s the one man who will walk through danger and smoke and fire.
Just to find her…

Inferno of Love is the second novel in the Firefighters of Long Valley series, although all books in the Long Valley world can be read as standalones. It has some strong language, and oh my, sexy times. Enjoy!

  • Good Story, HIPPA noise

Great sibling to the first, same great writing style, excellent set up for the third without beating the reader about the head, loved it! Only concern was the background noise re:HIPPA rules and dated references to candy striper and bed pans. I’m just saying ID can be behind the times . . . But there are standards.

A well written storyline with amazing characters that will scorch the pages. Georgia and Moose have sizzling hot chemistry. I could not stand Moose's father and how he treats his family. I also like how we get updates on the other characters. Erin Wright is such a talented author and writes storylines and characters with so much depth and detail. I can't wait to read the next book by Erin Wright. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Moose and Georgia, each carrying a torch for the other for years, think it’s destined to be unrequited love. Moose is matched by his parents to another woman, Tennessee (who he doesn’t love), since they were young, Trying to do the right thing and be a good son, he has gone along with this scheme for far too many years. Finally getting up his courage to break things off with Tennessee leads to repercussions on a grand scale. The book is well-written, as are all of Ms Wright’s books, with compelling characters and a strong plot. Just when it felt like Moose was being too big a wimp by going along with this medieval-era arranged marriage, we are reminded all that is at stake for him. Georgia is a wonderfully strong character, with a very solid ‘voice’—she doesn’t disappoint. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
  • Another great addition to the Firefighters of Long Valley series!

The characters, community, actions and reactions...all of these elements are important in either drawing me into a story or make me feel like a silent observer. Erin Wright once again has drawn me in with the Firefighters of Long Valley series! In Inferno of Love, we watch as Deere “Moose” Garrett’s planned out life takes some twists and turns, and Georgia Rowland, a hard working, determined banking branch manager (who has to deal with older men who feel a woman shouldn’t be a bank manager...in 2018...but sadly true in some instances) tiptoe around their growing attraction. In classic Erin Wright style, I was laughing, nodding my head in agreement (especially for Georgia who is a real gem!) and touched (especially for Sparky and Troy) by all of the characters. Her stories draw you into the community she creates and leaves you looking forward to more stories involving the supporting characters! Levi, Tennessee, Troy...many great characters here! • My New Favorite Erin Wright Book

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, Inferno Of Love by Erin Wright. Getting a new Erin Wright book is like having Christmas and my birthday together on the same day! And this one is my new all time favorite by her!! It definitely is NOT all sunshine and roses. There are a few things I want to slap someone ( NOT Erin) over but it adds to the enjoyment of the story. Erin’s characters are NOT one dimensional! They come to life on the pages of her books and keep you glued to the very end. This is book 2 of Erin’s Firefighters Of Long Valley series and while you CAN read them in any order you choose, I personally recommend reading in the order they are written. I love that they have characters from previous books in each of the new ones. I love reading more about characters I have come to love! Moose (Deere) and Tennessee have been promised to one another practically since birth by their fathers and being the obedient “children” that they are, they do not question it even though they both are NOT happy about it. It takes Tennesse’s cousin, Georgia and a life threatening situation to make Moose have serious doubts about his future. Sweetly sexy, emotionally thrilling, action packed romantic adventure filled with excitement, danger, passion and family expectations. Deere Garrett (aka “Moose”) is the small town golden boy with his whole future planed and set for him by his family obligations that include a close to arranged marriage. As usual though life will always through you a curve ball when you think you have it all figured out. What are you waiting for, one click this baby and enjoy the fun and whitey banter it offers. Highly entertaining!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I also purchased a copy. I just love this author and all of her work in the Town of Sawyer!! The characters are just so realistic and lovable. While this book can stand alone, it is great to see prior characters make appearances. I just can't put down a Ms. Wright novel. I would love to move to Sawyer, ID if I could. The plot flows so smoothly that before you know it, it is over. Moose and Georgia are a wonderful couple. After reading the prior novel, I was so looking forward to Moose's story. It didn't disappoint either. Now looking forward to Levi's. I can't wait for Troy's story either!!! Highly recommend!
