Ok but Nothing Great
3By NessaVTPThis was a solid read. The magic system was never explained nor the warring countries. The main protagonist was a bit bland and let ppl get away with too much. It’s ok to be justifiably mad at being deceived. Instead Arnault let everything slid even made excuses or exceptions. Such as groups that were prejudice against his kind or made bias remarks about his ppl. I liked a few secondary characters better even though it’s only one POV which I hates. Overall I liked it. I just was expecting something along the adventures of Wheel of Time or the Magic system of Brandon Sanderson , great character such as George R. R. Martin, or Brent Weeks.Awesome read
