A Complete Summary of All the Light We Cannot See
The lives of two high schoolers, a French young woman and a German kid, unrealistically converged at the end of World War II in ‘All the Light We Cannot See’.
Before the war, Marie-Laure LeBlanc, who had lost her priceless sight since adolescence, led a pleasant life in Paris with her father, Daniel. He was the key expert for the history exhibition hall.
The young maiden devoted herself to the study of mollusks, and regularly visited the historical center. Her dad created a point-by-point wooden replica of their neighborhood so she can figure out how to explore it. Complex wooden riddle-boxes were made in the same way to please her.
Her father gave her a Braille copy of Jules Verne's ‘Around the World in Eighty Days’ and the first volume of ‘Twenty Thousand Associations under the Sea’.
Also, at the gallery, a story of an astounding precious stone reached out to Marie-Laure’s curious ears and successfully grasped her attention. The name of the stone was ‘The Sea of Flames’.
