Description
Small-town veterinarian and animal activist, Summer Thorne, is hiding two monumental secrets—she’s a powerful witch, and she’s in love with Sheriff Cooper Carlyle.
Life in a small town can be tough. It can be even tougher when you’re a witch whose magic regularly backfires. But Summer Thorne only wants one thing: to create the perfect sanctuary for unwanted animals. Nothing and no one is going to stop her. Not even the sexy sheriff who is determined to shut down her rescue center. And certainly not the laboratory where she illegally obtained her mischievous chimpanzee, Morty.
Sheriff Cooper Carlyle has one goal: to keep his town safe. That includes his stubborn neighbor, Summer, whether she wants him to or not. When the animals of Summer’s menagerie get loose and create havoc, he decides enough is enough. But things aren’t always as they appear, and Coop stumbles upon the secret the Thorne sisters have been hiding.
Coop and Summer discover Morty holds the key to unlock a twenty-year-old mystery surrounding the death of Summer’s mother. Now Coop is faced with breaking the law he is sworn to uphold in order to protect Summer and her beloved pet from a threat more dangerous than any of them imagined.

4By SuZSngsFunny, riveting, evocative, and enchanting, this is a lovely tale of the trials that love can go through, even when it is the true, soulmate type of love. It makes me want to read more on the “Weird Seasons Sisters. “Summer Magic

5By Cindy Wittmann JonesThis is a fantastic book! Full of twists and turns. When I read, I picture the story like a movie. I can picture Preston as Jeremy Irons with his aristocratic and arrogant raising of his eyebrows & intimations. I picture his brother, Alastair being played by Brad Pitt, bad boy version, lol! I loved the main characters Summer & Cooper even though he’s an idiot. The best things are all of the animals’ shenanigans. Wonderful story & plot. Lots of twists that kept me reading well into the night. What?
1By eriknoelIt would have been a fun book if the author hadn’t made the main characters idiots. The men were overbearing boors and the women incapable of standing up to them. Their behavior wasn’t romantic it was abusive. Was it supposed to be funny?I love this series
