A few typos and mistakes, but the storyline was good. I looked forward to reading it each night.
  • No suspense

This was a frustratingly slow and boring novel—no suspense whatsoever, romance between two main characters lackluster. Two stars for being easy to read, despite being boring.

A nice light read, mystery with a little time thrown in.

Great mystery and alittle possibility of romance thrown in. The whole idea of solving cold cases by retired detectives appealed to me very much! Impressed me immensely: the Chief of Police allowed them to carry their badges and wear guns when interviewing persons of interest, in the story plot. Characters were well developed. Story flowed easily. Interest kept me reading for long periods of time. Dean Wesley Smith is a new author to me. Found this book free. I am now a new fan. Will gladly pay to read any books by him. 🐰🐰🐰
