Blissfully Undone

Red Phoenix does it again!!! Who wouldn’t want to get snowed in with a hot guy.?! It was supposed to be a friends and lovers weekend getaway, but then a snow storm hit. Starts out with Jenny and Dan the two that make it first to cabin. When the weather takes a turn for the worst the other two Dan’s girlfriend/ Jenny’s best friend and Jenny’s boyfriend, Dan’s best friend can’t get to the cabin due to the storm. Feelings surface and the romance and chemistry ensues taking you on a forbidden sexy roller coaster. When the snow clears the feelings continue to grow leading up to a smoking hot ménage. I’m not into ménages but I really liked reading about one in this book. I still can’t believe how much my heart ached for the very sexy Dan when the truth came out making me dislike Jenny a lot, but the heart wants what the heart wants right!? If ménages are your thing, then you’ll love this book. There are some very sexy scenes that leave you all hot and bothered wanting more, May even have you looking at food a little differently as well ( giggle,giggle).

Fell in love with the book from the beginning. Having the background on how they all new each other was great, you didn’t have to try and guess and kept everything straight as it played out. The book take you on s roller coaster of emotions. Love the ending as it becomes a complete circle.

Blissfully Undone had me on a roller coaster the entire journey trying to figure out how the journey would end for these characters. Red has carefully set up the book to make you look within yourself & ask the hard questions around a relationship & what or who you need to be completely happy. True happiness may come at other people walking away hurt but these characters traveled the journey with much respect to all involved.

A different type of book from Red Phoenix. While Dan is Dominant it is not her usual Dom/sub books I am familiar with. It deals with people who discover that originally choices in life are not always their forever choices. Blissfully Undone is well written and has twists and turns to keep ones interest in the book. Well done job by Red!

I love the way the book starts off giving you a good back ground of the characters not many authors do that. It’s also very well written. But that is the style of this author. She is in tune with the characters through the whole book. I just wish it was a little longer. I would recommend this book to anyone that is interested in M/F/M books. It definitely has a HEA and makes you stay at the edge of your seat the whole time.

Blissfully Indone is an amazingly HOT read that will leave you wanting so much more. Red Phoenix always does such a great job getting her readers to really care about the characters. I was so intrigued buy this steamy love story that I read the whole book in one session. Once I started I just couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. I highly recommend this book to anyone As well as Red’s other books. I have read them all and they are wonderful!!!

Blissfully Undone is an exploration in relationship dynamics and sexual taboos. Red Phoenix writes in a way that makes these taboos so much more approachable. I thinks this is a great introduction into the world of Red Phoenix. It’s 4 scorching stars that requires you leave your repression at the cover. The story opens with a couple’s trip between Ryan, Jenny, Dan and Kelly being interrupted by a snowstorm. While Ryan and Kelly are unable to reach Dan’s family cabin; friends Dan and Jenny are snowed in with not much to do but explore the underlying attraction they’ve always ignored. Dan is a sexual artist and Jenny his muse. Don’t believe me, wait till you read what he’s does with snow and try to deny his creative genius. The events from this trip changes the coupling and friendships between all involved. There is a ménage, infidelity, sabotage, acceptance and a true love story that conquers all.

The main girl is a home wrecker! She allowed herself to cheat on her boyfriend, force him into a trio relationship and then home wrecked her boyfriend. The other guy cheated on his girlfriend with the main girl. The two cheaters deserve each other. I have no respect for cheaters and hypocrites.

This book is so not like Brie’s Submission. Brie’s Submission was how I found Red Phoenix books! Blissfully Undone is not what I thought it was going to be. But I fell in love with the characters and wanted to know where their journey was taking them. Red Phoenix has a way of putting twist and turns in her stories that have you so invested in the story that you hate to put the book down and then when you get to the end you want more!

Let me start off stating that Red Phoenix is one of my favorite authors and usually I really enjoy reading her books but this one, I didn't care for at all. I'm going to start with what I did like and why I'm giving the book 3 stars. The story is well written. It is possible to see this situation happening in the real world. The story itself flows and is very easy to read. The romance scenes are extremely hot and steamy. When you read Red's books, can clearly tell that she writes from the heart and is in "tune" with the characters. The author alone is why this book is getting 3 starts instead 1. Now for what I didn't like about the book. The story itself was not my cup of tea. I feel that the 2 main characters were very selfish. I did feel sorry for one the character because he was trying to make his girlfriend happy and he got "screwed" in the end. Yes, he should have communicated more with the other 2 but anyone could see from the beginning this situation was not going to end well for him. I also felt the lead female was a bit too whiny and she kept saying how she really cared about her boyfriend but I believe if she really did care about her boyfriend, she would not have done what they (2 main characters) did at the beginning of the book. When the other 2 characters showed up, they had every right to be very angry with them. There was no excuse for their behavior. NONE! I feel that the other female was completely psycho. Instead of moving on with her life, she had to keep interfering with the others to "make them pay". Now that I'm done ranting, I DO recommend this author, she is a must read! I'm always recommending her to my fellow readers but unfortunately, I can not recommend this book. Like I said before this was just not my cup of tea. Now having said that, will I keep read Red Phoenix? OF COURSE! And I'm looking forward to her next release! I received a free copy for my honest review.
