Just an Illusion - Encore

Just an Illusion - Encore is the fifth book in the Illusion series. You must read the others first. Encore was the continuation of the story from Sawyers point of view. It was really well written and kept my interest the whole thing through. This series has been one of my all time favorites. You’d think with five books things would get monotonous, but it never does. It was nice to see what Sawyer was thinking when certain things were going on. It makes him so much more likeable and relatable. I loved the way he loved everyone, but especially Nate. His love for his brothers son was heartbreakingly beautiful. I was happy to see Mel, Sawyer, Nate, and their family get a happily ever after. I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole series and can’t what to read the side characters stories in the future.

Truly enjoyed this book. I’ve been team Sawyer since book 1. Even though we already read this story from Princess’s point of view, I loved reading Sawyer’s thoughts. It didn’t feel like a repeat. It was so nice seeing his insecurities. I knew going in this was an emotional read but it still didn’t prepare me. Dee wrote a fantastic love story exploring this forbidden type of love. Loved that epilogue. It was a fantastic Ribbon tie on this amazing series

Dee is very good at telling the story from the male POV and making it seem like a whole new story. This one didn’t quite feel like a new story, but it didn’t feel like a rehash either. While there were tears (both happy and sad), this book wasn’t quite as emotional as all the others. This was an excellent ending to the journey. I loved the bonus epilogue.

These books get you in the feels every time!! D. Kelly has finished a story between individuals that takes you on a journey of ups and downs! You must read all the other book before you read this one! What a wonderful way to end a story of wonderful people!!!

Just an Illusion was such a fantastic read. It really is a must read for lovers of this series. This story does not disappoint. Sawyer does not disappoint! Readers will feel every emotion Sawyer felt; the wanting, loving, heartache, heartbreaking and his most happy and heart touching moments. This wasn't an easy journey for Sawyer and he deserve his HEA. I also love his relationship with Nate and although there were some painful moments in the story, I loved seeing the group of friends/brothers together again. I highly recommend this series.

This is the 5th book In the series and not a standalone you def have to read 1-4 to piece back the missing pieces! Sawyer Weston and Amelia Greyson wow I have been following from book 1 I have cried with these books and laugh! The love & friendships in the these series I can’t wait to read more!

This series has everything you could possible want. The epilogue is the best...so laugh, cry, and love as you follow the Sawyer and his Princess on their journey. Saying good bye to the Weston’s is difficult, but I look forward to the spin off to read about Darrin, Eli, and Jordon.
