Memory Problems: The Novel
2By Flying_PigsA book about 2 people who can’t string 2 sentences in a row to, literally, save their lives. Basing continued conflict on communications problems is frustrating. Also, Bell has severely regressed in his character development displayed in the previous book. There are issues with some of the logic of the enemies. It is unclear what their goal is through all the twisting plans and traps they have apparently prepared for this specific situation... Yet their goals at the beginning stand apart from this end result. There is also a mounting problem where the naivety of the tone and the mature plot are becoming discordant. It’s like writing a story about the horrors of war, while you direct the characters to blush, buffoon, or otherwise lack resolve as the atrocities play out around them.
