Description

I had the perfect life.
Getting paid millions to play the sport I love and spending most of my nights with all the adoring female fans, what more could I possibly want?
I sure as hell didn't want the baby boy someone dropped on me before running, leaving behind a note saying he's mine.
If that's true, then I don't have a freakin' clue who his mother could be.
Until I get the paternity test results, though, the kid's my responsibility.
The sleepless nights with a crying baby have me crashing and burning on the football field, putting my superstar career in jeopardy.
And suddenly, the only woman I want hates me with a fiery passion. I knew Callie wasn't going to be easy to win over. Not when she blames me for her sister's death.
Oh, and if this baby turns out to be my son, Callie's determined to take him away from me.
Somehow I'll have to find a way to prove to her that there's more to me than my perfect spiral.

Story is good and the characters were fairly well developed. We have drama and romance that at times go hand and hand together. Callie is harder to connect with because of some of her attitudes. But overall the story is definitely worth reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book in the Playing Dirty series features Quinton and Callie. First let me say that the character growth for Quinton was flawlessly amazing and the writing is fantastic. I love that there was a big age difference, her being older than him, but the author didn’t dwell on it. Had we not been told the difference in their ages, I would not have been able to tell. Their accidental romance was sweet and VERY steamy. Their first kiss was amazing and it took ME by surprise, as I’m definitely sure she was surprised as well! He’s so clever! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

The characters are strong and they really grow though the story which makes this a very enjoyable and entertaining read. Lane Hart brings her characters and the story to life. If you love strong women and adorable babies and men who show you a gentle side this is a story for you. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a great book. I loved the unconventional start to Callie and Quintons relationship. Not many start with a baby that belongs to your sister and guy your dating. I loved all of Quinton friends, the Wildcats football team. They were funny and gave the book a family feel. I actually purchased the next book in the series ‘Delay of Game’ cause I wanted to keep reading about this group. I highly recommend this book and series. Quinton finds a baby on his doorstep. Tracking down the mother doesn’t have the intended result. Instead he finds Callie and everything changes. But can Callie trust him? Letting go of their pasts isn’t easy and almost details them.
