DARE TO OBEY

John Wilson began his close relationship with God in his second year of college. The decision to be close to the Lord would lead John to Mexico where he would begin an exciting journey that would change his life forever.  
On a mission trip to Mexico with his church, John met a young woman he would later learn was named Rosalba. The pastor of the local church requested that she bring John home for lunch one day. John was drawn to her, despite the fact that they did not speak the same language, limiting them to only communicating with the help of a translator. After a few days with her and one date, John had to return back home. This did not stop him from keeping in touch. 
He sent her letters every week, only some of which she was able to pay to have translated. And after weeks of letters and a few phone calls translated by a friend, John asked Rosalba to marry him over the phone. Her answer to this: Yes! 
Despite the language barrier, living in separate countries, little money, and the need for visas and citizenship, John knew that God had led him to Rosalba. And that God intended for them to be together. 
After Rosalba came home with John for them to be married, they would begin their greatest adventure ever: a life together. Learning together both about each other and the world the other comes from, getting married, and having children. 
God has a plan for all of our lives, even if we do not see what it is or understand the purpose it serves at the time. It is up to us to listen to Him and follow the path He has laid before us.
