Description

“You will not sleep until you are finished with AGENT ZERO. A superb job creating a set of characters who are fully developed and very much enjoyable. The description of the action scenes transport us into a reality that is almost like sitting in a movie theater with surround sound and 3D (it would make an incredible Hollywood movie). I can hardly wait for the sequel.”
--Roberto Mattos, Books and Movie Reviews

In HUNTING ZERO (Book #3), when CIA operative Agent Zero finds out his two teenage girls have been kidnapped and are bound for a trafficking ring in Eastern Europe, he embarks on a high-octane chase across Europe, leaving a trail of devastation is his wake as he breaks all rules, risks his own life, and does everything he can to get his daughters back.

Kent, ordered by the CIA to stand down, refuses. Without the backing of the agency, with moles and assassins on all sides, with a lover he can barely trust, and being targeted himself, Agent Zero must fight multiple foes to get his girls back.

Up against the most deadly trafficking ring in Europe, with political connections reaching all the way to the top, it is an unlikely battle—one man against an army—and one that only Agent Zero can wage.

And yet, his own identity, he realizes, may be the most perilous secret of all.

HUNTING ZERO (Book #3) is an un-putdownable espionage thriller that will keep you turning pages late into the night.

I am surprised it took me this long to get around to reading this one. Luckily, the beginning of the book gently reminds me of what I read in the previous installments. Agent Zero returns from saving the world to find his daughters missing. Of course, the CIA disavowed him as he raced off to rescue them. Will he make it before anything more terrible happens to his girls than being kidnapped? I have to suspend disbelief to read these books. At one point, I tried to process how big his pockets must be and decided it was just best to go with it, since I was invested in the well-being of some of the characters—obviously not the antagonists.

I get the sense that this book may have been published without the use of an editor. The story is ok, but the errors start to add up. Are there no alternatives to the word “scoffed?” I am reading the next book and characters “scoff” every couple of pages! Surely, someone owns a thesaurus.

I read Agent Zero Book#1 and couldn't put it down. Excellent writing, non-stop action, and great stories very pertinent to our world today. I just finished Book 3 in this series and will continue on with Book 4 as soon as I can download it. Haven't enjoyed a series like this since the Hunger Games and Outlander series.

What if someone abducted your two precious young teenaged daughters? What would you do? I would do everything in my power to find them and bring them safely home. I bet you would do that too. That is what Reid Lawson, a.k.a Kent Steele, a.k.a. Agent Zero, faced. He leaps into action to find his daughter. He did not trust anyone, but accepted help from wherever he could find it. He is much better equipped than I and probably you too for his task. Even so, he encounters many obstacles - human, equipment, and logistics. This book has lots of action and covers thousands of miles on two continents.
  • THE thrillers of the year!

Brilliant! The third installment of Agent Zero is an outstanding roller coaster of action and suspense, keeping up the pace of the two previous books. By far, the best thrillers I’ve read in a long time; characters are fleshed out and the writing is spot on, avoiding the usual testosterone-clichés. A refreshing aspect of these books, in the genre, is an absence of over-the-top political statements. Jack Mars keeps the story and characters first, unlike most chest-thumping arch-conservatives who author these types of books at present. The book is fine to read on its own, but I would highly recommend starting with “Agent Zero”; you’ll be hooked. I am. Can’t wait to hit book four; no 3 in my to-read queue...

I didn’t think it was possible, but this book was harder to put down than the first two! Hunting Zero picks up where Target Zero left off. In this tome, the third of the series, Jack Mars, in his fast-paced narrative, addresses the horrible crime of human trafficking as Agent Zero is in the hunt! Fasten your seat belt as you ride with Agent Zero up the Eastern United States and across Europe searching for his daughters. He doesn't let anyone or anything stand in his way!
