Description

When my parents died, I thought that the only way to cope would be to have a big family. Many children that could be there for each other when things got tough or if something happened to me.

Money has never been an issue for me since taking over the family business. I could buy anything in the world, except a woman that sees past the money. One thing that I will not do is have some woman stealing my money just to give me a child.

When the option comes up of a surrogate, I couldn't pass that up. My money may not buy a suitable woman but I can raise a child on my own.

Everything changed when I met the surrogate though. Beautiful, smart and athletic? That can't be real. But it is all too real now. When tragedy strikes, what is a man supposed to do? Can she be the woman that I need, or like all the other?

I like the concept. I like the idea of where it could’ve gotten. But the timeline in the book went from them finding out she was pregnant after miscarrying the first time to eight months pregnant with the baby about to be born in a matter of one page

Loved the story concept but there needs to be a lot more proofreading/ editing. Maybe a little more research as well.

The book was ok. Moved a little slow at times and it could do with a good editing. I also couldn’t stand the fact that they kept referring to the child as kid - very annoying.

This could have been a good book..... but they kept calling the baby everything but baby. It was strange and just felt wrong. They also had sex like a week after she miscarried at 6 months. Also wrong. Parts of the book felt like a different person was writing it. So I gave it 2 stars.

calling the baby “the kid” like it wasn’t something he wanted was so annoying ...
