5By chasidybartonI have loved EVERY book in the Vested Interest Series and Halton is no different. I devoured every single word! While this is book 6 in the series, it can be read as a stand-alone. Halton is a ruthless attorney who isn’t scared to fight for what is right. He doesn’t do relationships at all and never lets anyone get too close. Haunted by his past, he throws all his energy into his work. Fiona is working hard to try to find herself again. She gave everything to her husband until he decided he didn’t want her anymore. She seeks help from the one man who may despise her ex more than she? Will she ever be able to convince Halton to help her. I could not get enough of Hal and Fee. They both have demons to conquer, but will they be able to conquer them together? This is a MUST read!Wow!

But it only takes one person to change his mind and his heart. Halton is part of a series, but it can definitely be read as a stand-alone.4stars

The sixth book in the Vested Interest series, Halton can be read as a stand-alone. Hal is a sexy attorney, who fights for those who needs it most. He’s a good guy. But he doesn’t see himself as one. He’s not into relationships and think he’s incapable of love. Hal is a sexy brooding Alpha male. Love him. Fiona needs Halton’s service to divorce her soon-to-be ex husband and Hal is the best and hates Scott as much as she does. Fee was a strong heroine. Even if she didn’t see herself as strong. Love everything about this book. The connection between Fee and Hal was good. Their chemistry was sexy. Love seeing the men of BAM and all the wonderful characters of the past books.
