I’m a big fan of both of the authors previous read the wife between us, 10/10 recommend. However I found this book hard to get through the twist was predictable and underwhelming. I wish the book had the twist in the middle and the end was more of a resolution. Instead we are left with a lot of hanging questions and quick button ups. I look forward to reading the next book they put out though.
  • Just ok compared to others from these writers

I have read multiple books from this pair and had loved them all. For me, this one was just ok though. It was hard to keep up with so many different characters at once at times. The story line also felt to move a bit slower. It wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t great.

Only ok. I choose to think women are neither so stupid and weak as Shay, nor as shallow and ruthless as the others. So, I found the characters all unbelievable. As for the plot, I’d give it 1 star at most. Basically, save your money

I loved it! It kept me guessing it was different than most books I read which is a good thing! And I definitely intend to read the other books as well!

This is a clever story but not as credible, compelling or convincing as the dynamic writing duos other works.
  • Great Read!

Truly, a great read! I couldn’t put it down! Not your typical “I seen that coming” ending!
  • Page turner

However, it was hard to go along with all the bad decisions she made.

I loved The Wife Between US and was so excited to get to this book. I have to say I found this book pretty mellow and boring. I think it had the capability of being something much more. I would have loved to see the main character have more complex emotions and have a crazy ending compared to the happy yet boring one we received instead.

Slow start, and I had a hard time keeping up with the different characters, but towards the middle, I became intrigued and couldn’t put it down!

I love these two authors they write so well and have a way of brining you into the lives of the characters, my favorite so far has been the wife between us, but this book was also good and very engaging. Can’t wait for there next book to come out.

This is my favorite of the pair’s work. I loved If and was rooting for the main character the whole time.
