After haviing had family members who were killed in a plane crash and having been in a scary car accident I can totally relate to what Ruby was going through. Parker has a crush on Ruby, but he’s upset over her standing him up for a date. Her feels bad when he realizes it is her fears and his cologne that made her do it. Parker was a jerk at first and I was surprised Ruby would agree to go on an overnight trip with him with her fears and not knowing him well and that he would book only one hotel room. Funny moments in this book overcame some of the awkwardness.Thrilling story!
5By deit369I am so much thrilled with this story. After starting it, sleeping the night, I had to finish it before doing anything else. I think the struggles Ruby is facing after three deaths is so true to life. Some people just are so bound up with fears that they isolate themselves. But Parker comes back into her life and it’s “game on”. He is just the right person for her. He has his issues that create a little “hick-up” & that is needed for him to get over his “marriage has to be perfect“. You have to read this story. Kate Bellemore is one of my favorite authors.
