I loved the small town setting, all the quirky townsfolk who can’t help but butt into each other’s business and I especially loved Ainsley who has a heart of gold! She is definitely someone who I’d want as my bff and she’s such a relatable down to earth character. I loved her inner monologues and her determination in the face of an over protective older brother and multiple warnings from the perp to back off. But she’s not going to let any off that stop her because she made a promise to her bff to help. The plot was intriguing, the suspects confounding and the world building fantastic. This book is engaging , fun and laugh out loud funny! I was hooked from page one and cannot wait to read book 2!.
