    Not worth the time.
  • Good but too short

The story feels rushed. I love the characters but wish there was more time for character development.

It has potential. It’s short. It could use editing and additional information.

Soul mates, can’t help but love them Ember is at a ‘castle’ working, looking for her sister who has disappeared and possible women sold in sexually slavery. Nico is, very unknown to most, a dragon shifter who are nearly extinct Looking for their fated mates who are human women but hard to find as they have each other the half of each other’s souls. The development of a world and the secondary characters are great. Loved the story and can’t wait for more..I Hope...but Alisha Woods is a favorite author. Fantastic narrators and the story flew by...MORE! I received a free audiobook for an honest and voluntary review.

This has great potential but I felt that this could have been more. When I finished reading I thought there would be more to the story another book perhaps, not with different characters perspective, which is all there is. This book would be better with more details, fleshed out so to speak. It’s like there is missing information. Like this is just an outline not the full book.
  • Great story

Terrific story, but way too short! It doesn’t feel “finished”. It’s like the writer just was tired of writing, or didn’t know how or didn’t want to complete it. Yes, there is probably more money to be made with very short stories, however, is upsetting the fans worth it? If not, CALL IT a short story, not a novel!

I enjoyed this book but felt it was way too short. I truly felt that half of the book was missing.
  • Great for such a short book!

Read this entire thing while on my breaks a work in one night, so it’s pretty short for a book also a lot steamier than I was expecting(especially while at work), but surprisingly still a pretty good read. Don’t usually do such short stories because they usually feel really rushed and poorly written but not the case here! A lot more could’ve been added in to make it a full length book, but still kept me hooked.
