Description

No good deed goes unpunished!
Though Satou's stay in Labyrinth City got off to a rocky start, he's determined to put Celivera on the road to redemption! Acts of charity, such as founding an orphanage and putting the Plunderer King behind bars, are no big deal for him. But despite his best efforts, mysterious drugs continue to circulate. Incidentally, the noble in green, Sir Poputema, has been acting rather suspicious lately. Could he be linked to the spike in demonic activity...?

It just occurred to me that the phrase “Mana Transfer” seem to sound like an innuendo when you’re familiar with a certain Mushroom-Eggplant, oh well. The Labyrinth City Arc! The arc I’ve considered to be a high point in the original WN, it doesn’t disappoint here either. Lots of development, further deviations from the WN flow, and basically all the polish going into the making of an LN from a WN gives it an even more coherent flow of story. Basically, this book expands on a lot of untouched plot points (especially since the Labyrinth City Arc was a busy one), develops the characters further, and generally doesn’t seem like a simple rehash of the original story arc. And we’re not exactly done yet, I’m really looking forward to next volume. Still no sign of the Homunculus Sisters though. Seriously has the author really forgotten them?

This book is so great that it even allowed me to keep track of all the clues to find out who is behind the demonic potions along with the connections to volume 10 of stuff I didn’t think was important like the green noble promising to find out of the demonic potions. I just have one question when will kuros company start like in the web novel? I am looking forward to that.
