This Professional Investigators Guide is a basic introductory text for learners who are studying to attain a qualification or career as a Private Investigator, Surveillance Operator and/or Process Server. The Author has designed this guide to give learners a general overview of the investigation industry so they can understand why and how investigations are conducted. This guide also introduces learners to what types of jobs are available in the investigating industry and what skills are needed to obtain these jobs.

 As the author I come form a Security / Investigative background covering cases over the last 20 years. Seeing huge changes in technology and techniques over these years and continually adapting to introduce new practices to every aspect of the job.

Keen to pass on my knowledge and provide a quality service to the industry not just in the United Kingdom but worldwide, I strive to raise standards and introduce technologies that will assist our investigation roles and make our industry and networking stronger.
