Behind My Words

Where does one even begin with this book. J.L. Drake killed it again and brought another one of her amazing dark worlds to life. Once you start Behind My Words you won’t be able to put it down so be prepared for the long haul and be prepared to be kept on your toes and enjoy. This book is incredible and I hope when you read it you fall in love with it as much as I did.

WOAH WHAT DID I JUST READ!?!? I’m truly mind-blown by this story! In the beginning of reading this I was a little confused because of all the different moving parts and POVs, but once I realized what was going on and how this story was being told, I became OBSESSED with trying to find out who the killer was and how the murders intertwined together. In the midst of all the killings, we get the romance story of Spencer and Blake, and I loved their dynamic of their banter and teamwork. Without giving anything away from this story, I was THROWN by who was behind the murders, especially since ultimately it wasn’t necessarily the killer, although they had a hand in how excessive and large the murders got. I was extremely into this book and was kept in the edge of my seat trying to figure out all the moving parts. This was my first book from this author but most definitely won’t be my last! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
